Sometimes I complain when it starts getting cold. But Fall is like a breath of fresh air. The kids are back in school from summer vacation and I feel like our days are a little more organized. Although It's nice to have help when the older ones are home, Leiah and Ryker seem to be on a better schedule without everyone home during the day. We love to play outside when it's not so hot and feel the crisp air and see the leaves change color.

I love to go pick pumpkins at the Pumpkin Patch. We don't get around to it every year, but I really wanted to get pictures of the little ones while they are still so small. Although the wind just happened to pick up just as we arrived and I am not a professional photographer the pictures turned out ok, and I'm grateful that I have them.

Aubrie's Birthday

The last birthday of the year for our family. Aubrie is officially our second teenager at 13, and anyone with girls knows what a girl of this age wants for her birthday, CLOTHES. She has actually turned into GIRL. As a child Aubrie always played with dogs, horses and legos, you would never have seen her with a doll or other girl toys. She loves to hang out with friends and go to the movie, however when she's home Aubrie still likes to keep to herself.

To celebrate Aubrie wanted to go to Red Lobster for her birthday because she loves crab legs. We all had a great time taking turns with the babies in the hall way. Aubrie does not like cake or frosting, so I made her lemon bars for her birthday instead.

Oh, how many feet you meet.

This pictures was taken right before we walked out the door for church. Its not the best, however its not everyday you get a picture of just everyones feet, therefore I love it. I think it says a lot about each person in the family. I love how Ryker just happened to kick his foot up just as I snapped the pictures. Next time I will would like to get everyones bare foot.

Even at the age of 42 Jerry is still a hottie. He still has to show his muscles just like a kid. Notice he switched 42 to 24 on the cake. There's never a dull moment in our house when Jerry's home, he always makes us laugh. He's new thing lately is to switch words around. "Will you get me a wipewet", for wetwipe. "We have landedions in our yard", for dandelions. And we go to Garden Olive for dinner.

Savannah just turned 10, she's going into the 5th grade, I cant believe it. She loves dancing, and even teaches a dance class at our house once a week. Savannah likes to be with everyone and doesn't want to miss out on anything thats going on. She likes to do grown up things, rather than hang out with her friends. She loves to shop!!!!

Madi also had a birthday this summer. She is now 6 and going into 1st grade. We had a surprise party for her. She is a very busy girl and never sits down. She loves to play with friends and ride her new bike. Madilyn thinks she can do everything her older sisters do, including shaving her legs and wearingmakeup and bras. "It must be hard to be only 6."

Ryker and Leiah's first birthday!! Did a year already go by? Ryker loved digging into his cake but Leiah wouldn't even touch hers.

Ryker is so busy and is walking everywhere. He is actually a boy and does boy things, like pushing cars around and throwing balls. This is new to us. He also likes to play rough with his sister. And always takes away her toys. He only weighs 17 lbs. 9 oz. so the Dr. said He can only eat things with lots of fat, everything has to have sauce, and lots of ice cream.

Leiah is still crawling and crawls as fast as Ryker walks. She is so sweet, when I pick her up she pats me on the back and kisses my cheek. She sleeps until 8:00 am and always takes a nap at the same time. Leiah has the cutest laugh and giggles all the time until she gets the hiccups. She thinks she is so funny. She is almost 21 lbs. and is very cuddly.

Ryker and Leiah keep us so busy, they are so much fun. Ryker is crawling everywhere and pulling himself up to everything. Such an active little boy and he loves his Dad more than anything. Leiah enjoys taking in all the sites and sounds around her. She's trying to figure out how to crawl. She is very pleasant and easy going and loves her mommy very much.

What a special day to have two babies to bless. I'm just so grateful to have a husband to be worthy to bless both of them. Ryker and Leiah looked like angels for their special day. Although we may have days with a lot of work and tears, we wouldn't change our lives for anything, the joy they bring out ways it all.

Jerry loves his little boy very much but he still has a special place in his heart for his new princess.

What a joy to finally say I have a Son.

Madilyn fell off the couch and broke her left arm. She was so funny when she got her cast on. The doctor put the sock on her arm and had to cut the end off, she said "don't cut off my fingers". Then as he was wrapping her arm she rolled her eyes and said,"this is going to take a lot longer than I thought". She then told him that she wanted hot pink and the color he was using was not hot pink. She makes us laugh everyday.

Temple Celebration

This was a chance of a life time and I was not about to let Danielle pass this up. The youth in our stake were abe to participate in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple Celebration. Danielle did not what to do this. It was very time consuming and they had many, very late nights practicing at the conference center. On school nights she did not get home until 11:30 with math tests the next day and no time to study. Our Stake did a Latin American dance, Danielle had to wear a bright yellow floor length dress which she did not like. However in the end she was glad to have taken the time and had a lot of fun doing so. She also made many new friends and I know she was and will be blessed for all her time and effort. Jerry and I were able to attend the Celebration at the conference Center that evening, stand and watch the Prophet walk in and listen to him talk. It will be a day we will never forget.

Jessica's Wedding

Jessica Stratton Franz. My first niece to get married! The wedding turned out so beautiful and she looked so pretty. Jessica did a great job planning and organizing. I just wish I could have helped out with something. Living in Riverton I was just to far away, and I really needed to stay out of the hot St. George weather during the wedding. Also notice our little Madilyn as the flower girl, she was so excited, she thought it was her very own special day. Congratulations to Jessica and Jason!!!

I took this picture for two reasons. First I wanted everyone to see our view of the new Oquirrh Mountain Temple.
This picture was taken from Savannah's bedroom window. Second, notice the curtains, I made them myself this is my first real project done on my sewing machine. I know they are not even close to perfect, but I thought they turned out really cute.

Ever since Danielle was tiny we have always had to stop and get a pretzel when we go to the mall. I never get myself one, I just nibble a little off everyone's, then it doesnt look like I was a pig. The kids were off track and needed to get out of the house. I don't even remember if we bought anything this day, that's what I get for being pregnant.

This has been one of my worst fears, to have a permanent tooth damaged. Aubrie was playing tag with friends at dusk. She didnt see the swingset bar and ran right into it. The funny thing about this is we had just been to the dentist that very day for cleaning and check-ups. She will have problems with these teeth for a long time, however the dentist did a great job building them up and making them look great for now.
